Hi!! Let me introduce myself to you. I am Deepti RajPal, talking about myself, its my pleasure in saying that its been a great journey in training my wonderful and supportive students in Power Yoga. It gives me immense pleasure in helping people to live their life healthy and feel good about themselves.
I was an obese child myself, at the age of 17 i started to do power yoga and today I feel blessed to be introduced to power yoga. I not only lost oodles of weight but it was a turning point in my life in all aspects physically, mentally and spiritually. I practice yoga every single day feeling whole, complete, satisfied and full .I don’t believe any other person can give you that. They can only help you to create the environment, so as you yourself can tap into it. Nobody can do the work for you. I have to develop the strength to disempower my own habit patterns. Nobody can do this for me. And this is what the practice is all about. In other words, "the teacher" waits patiently behind the busy mind. And when I quiet my mind (yoga practice) and experience where I am and what I am feeling, the wisdom starts coming through.
ABOUT THE TEACHING.
I started to teach Power Yoga at an early age. To begin with I took training under gurus and thus, trained for their respective institiutes. I also provided my training at various gyms, spas, hotels and now I conduct my classes at my personal studio in Juhu. I have trained in aerobics for years, practiced kick boxing, certified instructor from Leena Mogre’s institute in aerobics, weight training, dietitian and nutrition. Then i Studied from Shri Yogendraji Yoga Institute in santacruz(e) where I learnt yoga in deep, this was a true intro to yoga. From here, my life completely changed it was a huge turning point in my life.
I thank my gurus under whom I have done my training and so today I am capable of spreading the same knowledge around. Being in this profession for 8 long years I have come across people from every walks of life be it bollywood, housewives, corporate honchos, students where everyone wants to lead a healthy life which can be in any way-a weight loss, de-stressing the mind, improvement in concentration, relief from diseases- aches n pain etc, they all swear by power yoga.
A new form of exercise which focused more on healthy, clean, organic food that was based on nourishing our bodies first, our taste buds 2nd, not vice- versa. A new lifestyle that focused on quality, not quantity. And also a new view of our relationship with our bodies, our hearts, and our relationships with the people around us, as well as on this planet. This was a very exciting time I knew I was on to something very special. Although I was definitely not the first person to experiment with the ideology of yoga, it was very new to me and still very exciting and promising.
So let’s use our yoga classes and our yoga practice to create the most ultimate environment around ourselves.
